Some of the postcards have actually been used and I have included the names and addresses where possible.

The photographer is standing in St Peter's churchyard to get this view of Blythe Bridge Road. The figure to the left in the photograph is probably the village policeman. The main entrance to the castle is just out of shot on the left.
