Some of the postcards have actually been used and I have included the names and addresses where possible.
8. Caverswall Castle the main entrance c1909
An early colour photograph of the entrance and the main gate at the castle. The postcard was sent in September 1909 from Kathleen to Miss Wilson at Park View in Berkshire. She writes that a moat goes all around the castle but it has been drained and been turned into gardens.
