Weston Coyney : One morning in August 1966 local residents awoke to discover that a breach had developed in the south western embankment of Park Hall Lake overnight. Ken took this photograph of the breach which had drained the lake revealing the muddy bottom. The waste tip at Park Hall Colliery can by seen on the right above the embankment.
